Stargate Atlantis- SGA

Hey guys it has been long time since my last post, actually was busy in my exams, though they are still on :P. Anyways I have been watching Stargate Atlantis and so i thought i can help you with my views about this  season.

So basically it is connected to Stargate sg-1 as there we have seen that pentagon and international allies have prepared a team of highly talented expeditors in the field of history science medicine and other streams  from all over the world to send them in the nearest galaxy PEGASUS. Well we have been reading in our class text books that pegasus is the nearest of all galaxies to our MILKY WAY. So actually they get a hint from sg-1's expeditions earlier that Ancients have their city somewhere in the universe and may be it is possibly in pegasus galaxy. then they also have an adress to one of the locations in this galaxy . A team headed by Dr. Rodney Mackey has been trying from quite a sometime to dial this address but since this address is located in other galaxy  so ther is a problem of extra power requirement . This extra power cant be achieved by any of the improved naquadah generators they have made . So they need a more powerful source. This source is a ZERO POINT MODULE (ZPM). But they have only one ZPM that is able to maintain awormhole for one-sided journey. so if the expedition team goes to this location they cant return unless they find another ZPM .

                                                                            A Zero Point Module (ZPM)

So with all thinking and some motivation from Dr. Elizabeth Weir the team decide to set of to the new location in another galaxy. Well you folks may remember Dr. Weir and Dr. Rodney Mackey from previous episodes of Stargate SG-1 also. So there are some familiar faces here in this new season . Though it is still based on expedition and all like Sg-1 it has its own uniqueness . As the expedition team reaches the other side of the wormhole they found a whole new city as mentioned by Dr. Daniel Jackson as The Lost City of the Ancients , ATLANTIS.

                                                      City Of Ancients- Atlantis

So Atlantis was the city of the ancients , which they abdandoned due to some unknown reason. So this city is actually a giant starship lashed with all the knowledge of the ancients . So the epedition team has a job of finding new friends in this galaxy and discovering many secrets of the lost city . But their job is not so easy as they also discover new enemies like the WRAITHS and Genii.

        Wraith

So thats all about Stargate Atlantis , those who have seen Stargate Sg-1 would not find it so adventorous but I can still give you two reasons why you should watch Stargate Atlantis a) You will came to know more about the Ancients  b) it has a new angle, rather than fighting those slimy little snakes all the time this new enemy is more potent threat than a goa'uld and offer a new challenge to Joe Flanigan( Lt. Colonel John Sheppard)
Torri Higginson (Dr. Elizabeth Weir) ,Rachel Luttrell , Rainbow Sun Francks (Lt. Ford), David Hewlett (Dr McKey, Jason Momoa (Ronen), Paul McGillion (Dr. Carson Backet) and Later Amanda Tapping (Col Carter), Jewel Staite and Robert Picardo.

Dr. Michio Kaku on The Hyperspace and The Theory of Everything - II

A very good day to my readers. I am very obliged by your visit to my blog. Please keep visiting it as u have always. This time we are here to continue my blog on The Hyperspace and The Theory of Everything in context of Dr. Michio Kaku.
As I have discussed in my earlier blogs about relativity and quantum theory, both are precisely opposite. General relativity is the theory of very large (you can say it gigantic); like galaxies , black holes , quasars and even he big bang. As quoting Dr. Kaku " It is based on bending the beautiful four dimensional fabric of space and time ". Whereas the quantum theory is totally based on the sub-atomic particles ; it is the theory of very tiny particles . It is based on tiny discrete particles of energy called quanta. Scientist and other big think tanks have spent decades on trying to unify these to polar opposites and have failed." The road to Unified Field Theory , The Theory  of Everything , is littered with the corpses of failed attempts".

The key to this puzzle ay be the hyperspace. Einstein has allready told that the space -time was four dimensional, it is wrapped and rippled. As we have told in the previous post that these ripples in the space time creates forces known as gravity. Later it was also discovered by Theodr Kaluza that ripples in the fifth dimensional space-time creates light.Like the fsh seeing ripples in the hyperspace moving in their world, many physicist believe that light is created by ripples in five dimensional space-time.
So as we can deduce here that if we increase more and more dimensions then we can accomodate more forces , infact all the four fundamental forces can be described properly if we add more dimensions and bend them in different ways. But is it that simple ??By naively going to 10 dimensions , we also introduce a host of escoteric mathematical inconsistencies for example infinites and anomalies that have kled all previous theories. The one an only theory that has survived till so far is the SUPERSTRING THEORY, in which this 10 dimensional universe is inhabited by  tiny strings.

In fact, in one swoop, this 10 dimensional string theory gives us a simple, compelling unification of all forces. Like a violin string, these tiny strings can vibrate and create resonances or “notes”. That explains why there are so many sub- atomic particles: they are just notes on a superstring. (This seems so simple, but in the 1950s, physicists were drowning in an avalanche of sub-atomic particles. J.R. Oppenheim- er, who helped build the atomic bomb, even said, out of sheer frustration, that the Nobel Prize should go to the physicist who does NOT discover a new particle that year!) Similarly, when the string moves in space and time, it warps the space around it just as Einstein predicted. Thus, in a remarkably simple picture, we can unify gravity (as the bending of space caused by moving strings) with the other quantum forces (now viewed as vibrations of the string).
"Of course, any theory with this power and majesty has a problem. This theory, because it is a theory of everything, is really a theory of Creation. Thus, to fully test the theory requires re-creating Creation! At first, this might seem hopelessly impossible. We can barely leave the earth’s puny gravity, let alone create universes in the laboratory. But there is a way out to this seemingly intractable problem. A theory of everything is also a theory of the everyday. Thus, this theory, when fully completed, will be able to explain the existence of protons, atoms, molecules, even DNA. Thus, the key is to fully solve the theory and test the theory against the known properties of the universe. At present, no one on earth is smart enough to complete the theory. The theory is perfectly well-defined, but you see, superstring theory is 21st Century physics that fell accidentally into the 20th century. It was discovered purely by accident, when two young physicists were thumbing through a mathematics book. The theory is so elegant and powerful, we were never “destined” to see it in the 20th century. The problem is that 21st century mathematics has not yet been invented yet. But since physicists are genetically predisposed to be opti- mists, I am confident that we will solve the theory someday soon. Perhaps a young person reading this article will be so inspired by this story that he or she will finish the theory. I can’t wait!" - Dr. Kaku
